Who wouldn't want a Cake-a-saurus for their birthday?

Fighting evil to help you celebrate your best birthday!

Is it just us or do kids today seem to know more about dinosaurs than most paleontologists? Jeremy from Hope View Elementary in Huntington Beach is no different. So when he needed an idea for his Artwork for Education project, he knew dinosaurs would be involved. At first he considered drawing several dinosaurs holding cakes, but decided on just one, a cake-eating Stegosaurus. That's how the Cake-a-saurus was born! When his dad asked him how he thought of putting birthday cakes on the dinosaur's back, Jeremy answered, "he has cakes on his back and his tail has some birthday candles on it too...like a new way to defend itself like candles and burning candles. Instead of spikes." And why does Jeremy love dinosaurs? "I dunno, they're just really crazy and fun and scary." What more could a boy ask for!

Art has been a great way for Jeremy to express himself. You couldn't tell from seeing him, but Jeremy has already had five surgeries, and he's only six! Last year he missed a month from school. That's when he created the Cake-a-saurus. When he returned to school, he found out the Cake-a-saurus was selected for WE's retail program. He received his Awesome Artist certificate in front of his whole school. Jeremy was thrilled by the homecoming his classmates gave him. So what is the next dinosaur card for Jeremy? Maybe a "Tri-Share-A-Tops". (he grins big, excited) He likes giving presents to his friends on their birthdays. Keep a look out for that one.

Here is Jeremy accepting his certificate in front of his entire school:

Worldwise Education in Whole Life Times

Whole Life Times WE is featured on page 12 & 13 of the June/July issue

"For-profit with the heart of a non-profit"
That pretty much sums up our original mission to provide teachers with the resources to teach their students. Every year, teachers spend an average of $500 out of their own pockets to buy supplies for their students. WE wanted to create a sustainable, market-driven solution to alleviate those costs. Artwork for Education takes childrens' artwork and transforms them into greeting cards. Part of the proceeds from every card gets paid directly to the school. The best part is, kids not only get to be a part of the solution, but also get to express themselves creatively.
Cards are now in Whole Foods Stores:
1. Brentwood
2. Fairfax
3. Glendale
4. Laguna Beach
5. La Jolla
6. Long Beach
7. Porter Ranch
8. Thousand Oaks
9. Tustin
10. Venice
11. Wilshire
12. Woodland Hills
13. Las Vegas
