Our innovative fundraising program showcases student artwork on custom greeting cards that are sold in as single cards by participating retailers. Artwork for Education has drawn praise from parents, administrators, teachers and students because it promotes the arts, fosters self esteem and creates lasting keepsakes that make wonderful gifts. Schools can choose to participate in our on-campus program, or our WEcare retail-only program, which is described below.

In the WEcare Retail Only greeting card program:

• Every child participates, however WE chooses images that have the most commercial appeal to represent your school in the retail program. 
  
  
• Full-color 4.5”x 6” greeting cards are customized with each student’s artwork. The student’s first name, age and school are printed on the back of each card.
  
  
• Parents of participating students completes a permission form giving Worldwise Education permission to publish their child's artwork and acknowledging that proceeds benefit the school. On the back of each card, in addition to the artist credit is acknowledgment of that the artwork appears courtesy of the artist in order to help their school.
  
  
• Cards are sold as single cards in retail stores for approximately $2.95. The school earns from $0.30 to $0.75 per sale. The exact price depends upon the retailer.
  
  
• If desired, parents can choose to purchase one or more boxed sets of 12 cards and envelopes featuring their children's design. Parents wishing to purchase their child's greeting cards are charged $20.50 per box and the school retains $8.00 from every sale.
  
  
• The school's only expense is postage to mail us your students' artwork. Proceeds from sales are mailed to the school twice a year: in January and June of each year..
  
  
• Once a school's art and parent's orders have been processed, we launch a custom web page for each school to showcase its student artwork and generate online sales and reorders. Cards sold online are in boxed sets, and schools receive $8.00 or more from each online sale.
