The answer is $500. Can you believe that? Just to make sure they have enough materials and supplies to teach with, teachers spend an average of $500 a year from their own paychecks. This amount of money is wildly disproportionate to professionals in any other field.
That is why WExchange exist and why Artwork for Education and WE cards are so important. If you want to help, you can send us artwork you have created that you think would make a great greeting card. We'll put that art to good use and sell WE cards to retailers across the country. And, we will spend what it takes from our profit (and more if necessary) to keep WExchange working and providing teachers everywhere with a source of free supplies. |
