Cool School is a direct link between teachers and their students here in the U.S.A. to other students and 'cool' activities around the world. A virtual classroom, Cool School uses Web casting, chat rooms, video conferencing, and other technology products supplied by the growing WE community of people and organizations that care about education and opportunities that help kids learn.

This winter, classrooms around the country can cyber-join 10 female high-school students participating in "ONE Summit," an ascent of Mt. Kilimanjaro in Africa to show their concern for children in Africa whose families have been devastated by the HIV/AIDS epidemic.

Other Cool School opportunities link students in the U.S.A. to the voyage of the sailing barq, Picton-Castle. The Picton-Castle is an 180 tall ship that sails around the world carrying donated school supplies to remote classrooms in places like Tonga, The Solomon Islands, Indonesia, Africa and the Caribbean.

Cool Students gives kids the chance to ask other students around the world questions about their life, their schools, and opportunities for learning.
